Convenience and breakfast was superb

The owner had sold and was leaving 3 days later so the bar was stacked up with boxes, lots of things were understandably packed but would have been nice to have known this beforehand. Bathroom was very old and there was mould - we didnt dare use the shower

the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Nothing really, it's a shame our room wasn't ready but we completely understood and did arrive before check in time,

I had done research as I always do and the reviews for the B and B were outstanding, HOWEVER I dis not realise a change of management recently and as such when this happens , booking. Com do not delete all past reviews on change The new owners were most helpful and changed my room which when seen was different to what I saw in the picture. I am sure that given time the new owners will progress and learn from what goes well and what doesn't. I do wish them my very best in this cut throat business please look at perhaps getting people on arrival to put in their breakfast orders as you will very minimal food wastage as not everybody wants a full fry , but part there of

The fact the past reviews were still on line from previous owners which earnt So my room was at first not what was in the picture but the owners changed my room to this It was a cold snap when I was there and the owners went out of their way to get heaters .

Nice b&b with standard room. Was tidy and staff were polite and efficient. Breakfast was superb!

I visited with my 16-year-old nephew for his first overnight stay on holiday from parents, as he struggles to be away from home. He had a brilliant time in Blackpool and the Rockley Hotel made it easier for him. He doesn't usually give compliments, but he was talking positively about the hotel. So I asked him his favourite parts and he said the beds are comfy and the staff are friendly. He was more chatty than he usually is so he must have been comfortable, which may be partly due to the fact that the hotel owners recommended his favourite activity of the whole weekend - the Retro Arcade Club. The hotel was a calm environment for my nephew, who even started to ask the owners questions about themselves (again, something that he doesn't normally do). For me, they were accommodating to a vegetarian breakfast. Again, the bed itself was comfy and the room was quiet on an evening and through the night. The room had a brilliant shower and the sockets/ lamps within easy access of the beds was welcomed.

As discussed with the owners, a small recommendation is a greater choice of pillow types. There were two spare pillows in the room, but these were small (more like cushions). However, we still slept relatively well.
