The Old Rectory

A lovely period property in an attractive tiny backwater village. Friendly reception with a cup of tea. Comfortable room. Helpful host. Very quiet. Close to Heart of England Way.

Small things: I would have liked tea making facilities. Breakfast was self service continental style- all very pleasant but limited. No evening meal available at local pub but could be obtained further afield.

Very quiet location. Welcoming host, comfortable bedrooms. The building is old and has been sympathetically decorated. Continental style breakfast.

Superb breakfast.

Always a comfortable place to stay and a restful night. Lovely rural setting within easy reach of Coleshill and Birmingham. Breakfast is not cooked, but continental, with fruit juice, cereals, fruit, toast and jams, a nice gentle start to the day. You have full access to the kitchen for teas and coffees whenever. Client always welcoming.

I did like the house and it was quite.

The parking was aful. The lady was angry at me when I bave parked somewhere elsewhere and it was a tiny little space to park between roks and her car it was bad. The lady was a hit rude when I wrote down my email address and "she couldn't read it". I felt like she doesn't really like foreigners.

Loved the old house and the lady running it was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely quiet location.

Our only problem, being on the taller side, was the bathroom. Once in the tub could not stand up to shower.

This is a wonderful house with an air of extreme age which surrounds you as you enter the front door. The owners have kept it immaculate at not inconsiderable expense. Our breakfast was excellent and our host was friendly and helpful

Its difficult to have a shower as the bath in under the eves.
