"I was meeting old university friends now scattered round the country, so one night was all I needed."

The breakfast was good and more than ample as well as varied; but it would have been pleasant to have a better jar of marmalade than one with 20% fruit (there were two jars: I only looked at one), and the good 'full English' would have been enhanced even more with black pudding.

It would have been pleasant to have access to the toilet at 5:45 a.m. The one other guest was inside for his shower, I believe.

Excellent communication. Lovely welcome. Room was great. Breakfast was good. Would recommend a visit.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but my husband found it very comfortable.

How pleasant and friendly the lady was and that she got me a taxi to take me to the wedding which arrived in no time so I wasn’t late . Plus the next morning breakfast was good and the conversation she also made sure I was ok to drive before I left would stay again if I was ever up that way again thanks

Really friendly and attentive host. Couldn't do enough for us. Lovely Mornflake porridge in the morning before we set off on our bikes!

Quiet, clean and comfortable and very friendly host - what more do you need? Only slight down-side having to share a bathroom with one other room, but there were actually no problems.
