Forest Manor

Friendly and warm greeting from the hosts who made sure i was comfortable and warm after a cold and wet day of work.

Found it a little difficult to locate the property but was more due to my lack of navigation skills

Harry and Anne were very hospitable hosts. My room was a great size, was clean and had a gorgeous view of the gardens.

No breakfast

It would have been nice to stsy in one of the rooms shown on their website.

ok continental breakfast . Very handy to town has private garden, plenty of room in unit , character home

no wine glasses

This is a super place and we really wish we could have stayed longer. Spacious, cosy and super comfortable. The breakfast was great as well. Lovely host who was very accommodating when we ended up running later than planned. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night from 20 to 21 March in this gracious heritage property. We enjoyed the traditional furnishings and comfort. It was great to have a separate living area with a couch and dining table. The bedroom was beautiful with a comfortable bed, with feather pillows. The morning sun streamed in across the lovely gardens, too. All in all, a delightful stay.
