Acorn Hill Lodge and Spa

Check in was easy! Room was huge and comfortable. It's an older building so do not expect new and modern. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Plenty of pillows and towels. Breakfast had a good variety and food was good. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Definitely more laid back then I'm used to. No rush to hurry up and eat and get out. Had to find the server to get my check. Not a problem. Just not used to that. Great walking trails nearby. Easy to get everywhere. Would definitely recommend.

The property was very comfortable, cozy, welcoming, and relaxing. My room was more of a suite with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. The atmosphere in the room and the lodge in general was so soothing and relaxing that I didn’t want to leave.

The one small issue was that the workout room. I’m a fitness fanatic and typically do not miss workouts. The workout room could use an update.

Clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious.

The property was like being in a Hallmark Movie at Christmas Time!!! So quaint and charming… filled with so much charm. The lodge owner, Wanda, was amazing! The Bistro fed us an exceptional breakfast every morning, from cinnamon raisin pancakes to berry French toast! Karen at the spa was wonderful and I had a fantastic massage. Couldn’t rave more about our experience and we will definitely be making this trip again during the Holidays!
