The cottage/barn had a fireplace and whirlpool tub. It is very roomy,but also nice and cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Breakfast was delivered each morning and was delicious. The stay was a surprise birthday getaway for my girlfriend. She loved it and didn't want to leave, neither did I. I look forward to coming back in the future.

It was a little getaway in the Coop. It was cute and clean. The hosts were great and breakfast was amazing.

There wasn’t anything not to like.

We LOVED the breakfast Ann made each morning, it was filling with generous portions and so so delicious. I also appreciated how accommodating they were. For example, we would have missed breakfast one morning as we were out, but they offered to make it for us later, so by the time we got back it was hot and ready to eat, although it was after the breakfast serving time. The property also has a variety of fruit (some of which they used in the breakfast) and Gary invited us to pick fruit if we wanted it (which we did and it they were scrumptious indeed). I also liked the fact they went over the rules onsite with you and had a paper version to read at one's leisure in the suite as well. The room was clean, large and so beautiful with complementary water bottles and tea/coffee too. It was such a relaxing weekend and everything we needed was taken care of. Its also nice that the suites are individual cottages, so you have you're own little haven. We most definitely look forward to staying with them again!

The property is very centrally located to town for gas, meals, etc. Gary gave great suggestions for our nightly meal...We did wind up at Greenfield Restaurant, which was wonderful. The guest house was fantastic and very clean!!

The location was quiet and beautiful despite being so close to a highway. The hosts were kind and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious! The Coop cabin was beautifully furnished and well stocked with whatever amenities we would need. I highly recommend Hillside for a peaceful getaway spot.
