"Charming country house"

Location in a peaceful surrounding, accommodation was charming and breakfast was decent and well presented. Loved the individual butter trays and numbered table.

The shower was leaking through the floor which made it very akward for us and only my husband could take a shower before we were told the ceiling is leaking. The floor tiles were all lifted. Perhaps some maintenance is due. A welcome or greeting by the host would have been nice.

Quiet and peaceful location.

So called continental breakfast was cereal and toast. I should have read the small print when the advert said breakfast included !!!

"It was just an overnight stay to go to a birthday party. It met our needs perfectly."

"Slept well in pleasant surroundings."

Not too difficult to find. Pleasant location. Basic room and breakfast matched the price. Watched the rabbits and heard a cuckoo. The owner provided a cheerful welcome.

Breakfast was rather basic and the decor had a surprising number of knicknacks.
