Happy Beach Resort

Right next to a small beach but very basic place. Front doubles would be a better position as the rooms at the back very noisy as by the road. Breakfast good. Young lad friendly .

Expensive for a place so basic. Rooms at the back very noisy with road traffic all night. Much better places around, though wouldn't come back to unawatuna, much much better beaches elsewhere.

This is a lovely place right on the beach. We had a peaceful stay and wish it could have been longer! We were in room 1 which was very spacious and it’s helpful to have a fridge. We enjoyed breakfast, particularly the fruit juices every morning and you just can’t beat the view! The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The manager (sorry, can’t recall name) and Tharuk were always smiley and happy to help.

The food provided was good and the view and the beach was excellent. We were served by a lovely young lad named Tharuk who provided excellent service.

This is a little private piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle (but still close). Staff were so lovely and helpful, we especially appreciate Turak preparing our breakfast every morning and always smiling :) The room is romantic, and is quite literally on the beach! We enjoyed our private sunsets, swims and breakfast. The accomodation isn’t boastful and lavish, but is a humble island escape. Amazing value for money, would recommend to anyone!

The room is very basic but has an amazing view of the ocean. Breakfast is fantastic and having it in front of the sea is a plus. Recommended

Right on a beautiful beach which felt like it was private. We saw turtles! Very kind staff including the younger man ( I forget his name, I think it was Barack) who was so sweet and helpful. Delicious breakfast!

Our room was at the back ( which we were fine with) but it was quite noisy as it was on the main road with cars and tuk tuks all night. As the main road runs along the beach, this would probably happen in most hotels along the beach.

Great Location with private beach, great breakfast. Staff member Taruk was very helpful. I was able to check in 2h early.
