"Possibly the dirtiest place I ever stayed..."

The location is fantastic. The staff were friendly enough.

I stayed in a twin room and I'm pretty sure one of the beds wasn't changed from the previous customer; One of the hand towels was dirty and stained (see pictures); The place really needs a fresh paint as you can see on the pics but what got me was how filthy the place was. From the carpet, to walls, bedding and bathroom. A lot of soap and water should do the job but I don't think who runs the Dartmoor/f Forest inn cares about customers and the building. It definitely wasn't worth the £100 I paid for the stay as the evening of 15th April I would be happy to grab my stuff and sleep somewhere else.

Really wonderful location and old pub, loved all of it, amazing staff, really kind and welcoming. Generous food portions.

Slightly more options on menu, radiator in room didn’t really get hot but there was an extra heater.

"Comfortable and Geniune Bed and Breakfast experience in Dartmoor."

I enjoyed the friendliness and easygoing nature of the proprietors, Paddy and Richard. It was such a wonderful and authentic experience. The BnB was not pretentious but very practical and simply comfortable.

There is no official front desk at the Forest Inn so guests should be prepared to just randomly ask for the proprietors upon arrival. Give plenty of time to arrive at the location as the Forest Inn is located in a fairly remote location in the Dartmoor National Park.

Wonderful location especially for walkers. Amazing full English breakfast in fact all the food was really well cooked and presented Bed very comfortable

The bathroom was not very clean around skirting could do with a deep clean. WiFi intermittent

Full English breakfast was excellent making the price of the stay excellent value for money. Location very convenient for walking on Dartmoor. Paddy was an excellent host

Some parts of the room could do with some decorative maintenance - wallpaper stains and ceiling cracks etc - however none of this detracted from the overall comfort of the room
