MAD Bed & Breakfast

Das Gastgeberpaar war sehr natürlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Sie haben sich Zeit genommen und uns Empfehlungen gegeben sowie Fragen beantwortet. Im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes waren wir über WhatsApp verbunden und haben uns für Ankunft, Abreise, Gepäckaufbewahrung (…) abgestimmt. Das Zimmer samt eigenem Bad, sowie der Gemeinschaftsbereich (2 Parteien möglich), bestehend aus Küchennische, Essbereich sowie Lichthof, waren sehr ordentlich, sauber und mit viel Liebe zu praktischem und verspieltem Detail. Es waren bspw. kleine Spiele oder Bücher für den Zeitvertreib da oder Mückenschutz für die abendliche Nutzung der Terrasse. Der Kühlschrank durfte für eigenes mitbenutzt werden und für das süße Frühstück war alles, inklusive Espresso, Filterkaffee und Tee, da. Die Gastgeber gaben explizit den Hinweis, dass das Leitungswasser gefiltert und trinkbar sei und wir kein Trinkwasser kaufen müssten - nicht nur an heißen Tagen wertvoll. Die Lage war top und das Zimmer ruhig. Vielen Dank an Antonella und Santino!

Hostiteľ Santino nás čakal pri príchode, všetko ochotne vysvetlil a ukázal na mape, aké miesta odporúča navštíviť, vrátane reštaurácií. Po skončení pobytu sme si mohli nechať batožinu na ubytovaní, aby sme si mohli pohodlne užiť deň v meste až do večerného odletu a tiež nám umožnil použiť kúpeľňu voľnej izby. Všetko bolo skvelé!

Very clean and fresh, comfortable bed, large window in bedroom, various coffee accessories in common area, including frother for cappuccino. Wonderful location. Hosts are truly welcoming. Upon arrival and check-in, provided an intro to Palermo, even going so far as to take a map and mark on it places where you indicate you'd like to see on your visit, suggestions for additional sights, restaurant recommendations, the touristy restaurants to avoid, etc.

Not a complaint, but something to take note if it matters to you: Desk very small and rounded corners, could accommodate only a laptop, no room for second screen or area to rest your wrists while typing. Not a problem if you are in Palermo simply for leisure but if you are working remotely, a bit uncomfortable.
