Arte Bianca

The location was very convenient to the train station and city buses for trips to Monreale and other sights. We booked a deluxe double room (queen bed) on the advice of the host since it faced the courtyard and it was very quiet. The balcony room can let in some street noise I think. Wifi, AC, shower and bed were all excellent - the bed was comfortable. Although the building is old, the lift works very well and the room had acceptable furnishings. We liked the nearby Lidl supermarket for picking up some breakfast items.

No complaints. It would be ideal if the host could stock some tourist maps and in particular, information about the free city shuttle (AranC) that loops around the historic center. They’ve recently changed the bus stops near Palermo Centrale, which was frustrating since it differed from the website, but of course not the fault of the host. There wasn’t any convenient Tourist Information booths nearby.

Ivan went out of his way to help us retrieve an old map which we left behind in Cefalu. Ivan and Bianca welcomed us with delicious cake.

The location was excellent. The room and bathroom was beautiful, well laid out, great size for two people. The hosts were super helpful and could not do enough to accommodate us in every way. Within quick walk to Central Station, Ballero market and many shops and restaurants. Thank you Ivan and Bianca, we will recommend your place to our friends and if we ever so lucky to come back to Palermo we will certainly stay at Arte Bianca again...not arrive before 9am 😜

The apartment is very very beautiful, elegant, stylish, comfortable and cosy! The host is very welcoming and it's a pleasure to talk with him. The location is very convieniently situated for sightseeing and also near to the central station.

I had a fantastic stay here, thanks to the incredibly kind hosts who made me feel right at home. They even brought me cake while I was working in my room and offered plenty of great advice on things to do and see in the local area, as well as tips for my onward travel. Overall, it was a very welcoming and comfortable experience, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. It feels like staying with family.

Beautiful historical property, very well located. Staff were very welcoming and gave us some delicious home made cake on arrival. The room was lovely.

The location is excellent, housed in a charming building full of character dating back to the early 1900s. It features high ceilings, original floors, and retro details in the common areas. The grumpy yet proud concierge at the front door adds an extra touch to the unique atmosphere of this building. Absolutely charming! Viviana welcomed us in the kindest way; she gave us tips about the city and helped us settle into our room as quickly as possible on the hottest day in Palermo.

The headboard in one of the bedrooms, though finely decorated, is made of metal, produces a grating metallic noise with every slight movement. This makes sleep uncomfortable for those who are light sleepers.
