Namaskar Lodge and Homestay

Staff members are incredibly kind and eager to help you anytime, especially Namaskar, the owner. Even when she wasn't at the reception she just comes out of her room quickly and gives you any sorts of advice. Your room is kept clean and equipped with mosquito repellent, making your stay comfortable. Meals are authentic and reasonable.

Just part of Indian culture but you have to bring your own toilet paper. Also, as there aren't a lot of hooks in the shower room, you might find some difficulty placing your clothes while bathing.

Too many mosquitoes at the restaurant but I guess it’s probably the season / those little suckers are everywhere in the city.

I orinalky booked for two nights but stayed for five because Namaskar has such a cosy, homely feel to it! The decor, furnishings and attention to detail really stand out and it's obviously been done with love and pride. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and they serve delicious food on the top floor dining / lounge area. Single rooms with shared bathroom or large doubles with en-suite, all budgets are catered for. Great location for sightseeing, I would thoroughly recommend to single / family or group travellers...😁👍

I had a lovely time with my family. Location was good, staffs were supportive & even allowed us early check-in. They also helped us with arranging trip to Meghalaya. I would stay here again if I am visiting Guwahati. Thanks Team :)
