Hostal Killaymi

Great place and really friendly people, they let us check in much earlier. Right next to the bus stop.

For us it was a great place to stay: It is very close to the bus terminal and we could drop off our bags at 7 in the morning and also store them while we did a multi-day hiking trip (for a small fee). They also arranged checkout for us at 4 in the morning with no problems. In general the staff was very welcoming and helped us with everything. The room had a decent size and was in good condition.

It would not be the place in which I would stay for multiple days in Arequipa, because it takes quite a bit to reach the city center. Further the cleanliness of the room was fine but could be a bit better (especially bathroom).

The hotel is located right next to the bus station. We arrived early in the morning (5 am) and they let us in without any problem. They also stored our luggage when we were out in Colca Canyon (5 soles per day).

There's hot water but you need to let the receptionist know, so they turn it on. It's an old hotel and so it's not entirely clean, etc., but for such a price it's still a great option!

just 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal (terraquerto) and the landlady is very accommodating.

The main door entrance can only be controlled by the staff. With that being said, you need to ring the door bell (if no staff is at the reception) when you go out from the building at odd timing. Likewise you need to ring the door bell every time you enter the hostel.

The owner is very kind. My bus was 5 hours late! Arrived at 1.30am. I contacted them and they agreed still let me check in... Fantastic and many thanks.

Nothing - quite old and basic room.. but for 11US$ with private bathroom, that's ok.

The landlords were really nice, gave me instructions about where to go to take the bus and offered to book taxi for me alternatively, the room was pretty comfortable and there was hot water!
