B&B La Rocca

Peaceful location, town a short walk away. Isabella and staff very friendly. We couldn’t do the walking we had planned due to bad weather but Isabella offered us several alternatives. We visited The Medici Villa of Poggio a Caiano which we found beautiful and very interesting and also the birthplace of Leonardo de Vinci - Vinci, where we had a spot of lunch and visited the museum which was fascinating 🙂

Me surpreendeu positivamente a história do local, e o ano de construção da casa. Seu estado de conservação superou minhas expectativas. Instalações do quarto e banheiro ótimos, fiquei hospedada no quarto com banheiro privativo dentro do quarto. A Isabela nos recebeu muito bem, nos buscou de carro no ponto onde o ônibus nos deixou, pois estava chovendo. Também foi super solícita e deu dicas sobre o local.

Café da manhã é bem simples e caseiro, possui poucas opções inclusas no valor. Há possibilidade de adicionar itens com custo extra.

Bel panorama ma: 1 la vegetazione esterna è completamente abbandonata 2 scarso livello di pulizia e manutenzione di tutti gli spazi; pavimenti, lenzuola, teli bagno, guanciali e tutti i tessuti che rivestono l’arredamento. Le porte oltre alla chiusura con un lucchetto, cigolano arrecando disturbo durante la notte. 3 inaccettabile il servizio colazione non solo per la scarsa qualità dei prodotti e il pane posso, ma, per la totale mancanza di igiene in quanto, i barattoli di marmellata sono accessibili con le proprie posate, il burro è lasciato aperto, raspato chiunque, così come il succo e il latte sono senza tappo protettivo senza etichetta in brocche di vetro in uno squallido corner; i barattoli dei biscotti sono unti, pieni di ditate nonostante fossimo i primi a fare colazione le tovaglie dei tavolini probabilmente non sostituite da giorni. Da un B&B con punteggio superiore a 8, ci si aspetta attenzione e cura verso gli ospiti. È incomprensibile la votazione di Booking!

Great view. Quiet location. Interesting historic ceilings. Breakfast from 07:30 to 10:00

In the pictures the house looks better than it is in reality. When selecting this B&B, I did not assume that historic means crumbling apart. The renovation that has been done, has been done in an unprofessional manner. - The ceilings are original, but in reality you see extensive water damage. The doors could be original, but were restored in a cheap way and do not close properly. - The beds in the rooms and the breakfast table seems to be cheap stuff from thrift stores. I leaned on the headboard and it fell apart. One of the two breakfast tables is so low, you touch the table with your knees if you are 1.60cm. Seems someone wanted to save money on furniture and took whatever was available for free somewhere. - The mattress smell of old sweat, meaning they are very used and need replacing. - The main room is not very inviting. There is one small couch with two seats, two breakfast tables and the pool billiard table, which takes up most of the space and is used for everything from storing flyers for nearby restaurants as well as presenting the breakfast items. In addition to a renovation, the place needs a proper cleaning. The floor and all surfaces require cleaning. Everything you touch has a sticky feel to it, like it has not been cleaned in a while. Breakfast ist not ok by any standard: The bread provided was not fresh. People did touch it with their bare hands to cut it, which is unhygienic. There should be a napkin of sorts. The other food items provided were apples, toast, cookies, some cereal, coffee/juice and yogurt. The food was cheap stuff that stores for weeks. Feels like someone wanted to save money as well as the time it takes to drive to the next bakery/supermarket in the morning. On the two breakfast tables stood jam, Nutella and honey. The jars were very sticky and seemed to have been opened a while ago. Everyone took the spreads with their personal cutters from the jars, also not very hygienic.

Tutaj możesz przenieść się w czasie. Willa jest z XVI w. położona w malowniczym terenie z obłędnym widokiem na okolice. Właścicielka jest cudowną osobą, bardzo miła i kochana. Dobrze mówi po angielsku i chętnie ci pomoże.
