Meget smukt sted og meget imødekommende personale. Smukke gamle, originale - og forventeligt lidt slidte - rum. Og helt nyt, lækkert badeværelse.

This is very serene, quiet, and peaceful place. Isabella and the girls that attend to La Rocca were very nice and welcoming. La Rocca is near the top of the town, and there is a slight breeze. It was comfortable with the windows open all day…in July!! The breakfast was normal and appropriate. The small town of Carmignano was also inviting. Everyone was polite. The gelato and dinner was actually better and cheaper in this town than in Firenze. The best part was the people here. Not many tourists, everyone knows everyone here.

To travel to the city, you have to take the bus, which has limited hours compared to the trains. It was easier to drive.

The breakfast is seved in a grand room, great views to the hills and valleys. I enjoyed the fresh rustic bread with all kinds of jams, and took it outdoors to enjoy the views. The coffee, was pleasant, but I prefer my coffee strong. A few cereal offerings and one day fresh melon, another day a home baked cake.

OK, I was travelling solo and without a car. The 210 bus was a nightmare, buses not showing up, and I was stuck really. Fortunately I was helped out a couple of times, or I wouldn't have seen much at all, or made it to the airport. The beautiful path leading to the B&B is very steep, so I was climbing up 3 times a day. I wouldn't recommend visiting without a car. There were record high temperatures, so this was not good. Just being there was great though.

Breakfast was ok but eggs and sliced ham etc was extra. Owner was great and proud of the family history attached to the property newly renovated bathroom was great

Perhaps in some ways a little too “rustic”
