The Witterings Bed and Breakfast

Welcoming host, comfortable warm room, and it was good to be the reflexibility of arranging my own breakfast

The witterings is a lovely quaint house ran by a lovely gentleman It was very clean and tidy to a very high standard I would highly recommend a stay there

Shared bathroom. No facilities for washing in the room, not even a small sink. Cheap breakfast cereals, bread and yoghurts full of artificial flavour enhancers Something in the room was supposed to smell nice but it triggered my asthma. This bed and breakfast fell far short of its rating on booking.com The “no refund” policy is unfair in these circumstances. I had expected a pleasant, comfortable stay going by the rating and was bitterly disappointed. I paid for two nights but only stayed one. I wouldn’t have stayed even one, in hindsight.

Breakfast was good but basic. Help yourself with no hot option. The bed was very comfortable. Owner was very friendly and helpful

Bed comfortable

No water in breakfast room, I had to get water from bathroom tap, only brown bread in fridge, no choice, breakfast disappointing. No one came to check, cheap plastic raped croissant, fresh wound be better and a few meats, maybe some fresh bread.

I didn't rate the breakfast, cereal good but choose of bread was not, only offered brown lightly seeded, we only eat white bread, we dont like fruit or yogurt which was an option
