Clean, secluded property, you could hear the rush of the water only when patio door was open. If you love nature you will love this property with birds of all kind and the rare otters to hopefully see. Breakfast was amazing and the owners locally source from farmers on some of their products. Perfect getaway to relax and unwind.

The location was ideal for the purpose of our trip and it had a fabulous view of the countryside. Nikki kindly tailored breakfast to meet our requirements which was very much appreciated. Nikki was a perfect host.

"A perfect, quiet location for a short or longer break in beautiful countryside, but near the sea."

Breakfast was excellent, with our choices cooked to perfection. Nikki was helpful with suggestions of places to visit and eat. We were entertained every morning by the different birds outside, nuthatches, robins, cormorants and we even saw an otter in the river just below the house. Wonderful! The nearby Saxon Arms is a charming, well frequented country inn, with pleasant, very efficient staff and a good choice of food.

The rain!…but there were plenty of indoor attractions in Dorchester. The Tutankhamun exhibition was excellent.
