They allowed me to check in early since I had a morning flight and the room was empty. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety of food. It's a short walk to the supermarket and the town center.

The bathroom had a horrible smell all the time. I had to keep the door closed so the whole room didn't smell. There's a huge terrace behind the buildings with a nice view across the water to Faial. It's too bad they don't have some nice furniture out there to enjoy it.

As a female solo traveller, this was a lovely place to stay. It was secure, clean, the staff were lovely the food was great and I felt very safe and comfortable. I stayed on my way out to Faial and again on my way back. It is within easy walking distance of the town so I had no problem finding somewhere to eat and the only thing which I felt bad about was that the staff carried my big heavy suitcase up the stairs because there isn't a lift.
