The Canyons B&B

The property was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The view was breathtaking. And at night, it gets dark enough to actually take photos of the milky way galaxy. The property is facing east so you also get a gorgeous view of the sunrise over the mountain and river, it lights up the property beautifully in the morning. And if you’re lucky, you might wake up to sheep grazing around! It was absolutely magical! Matt and Jennie really helpful with checking us in and giving great suggestions about what to do around town. They had detailed instructions and recommendations prepared. Everything was so smooth.

As you arrive, the lovely Jennie greeted us on arrival. The hosts were available when you needed them by text or a phone call. Great communication! Gorgeous property and accomodation overlooking the Shotover River where you can literally lie in your bed watching the ShotoverJet boats zooming around and doing 360 degree turns. Exciting for the participant’s too! Our room was just perfect with beautiful linen on the bed and lovely goodies that Jennie left in the bar fridge to enjoy. Should we have the chance to go back to NZ, I might book a room with the bath, as I love my bath. This room has a shower only. I had breakfast one morning as once I’d looked at photos, I couldn’t resist it and it was delicious! Take note that It does cost a further $30 per person on top of your accomodation charge. Loved watching sone snow on Cotonet Peak from the property and if you zoom in on your camera/phone, you may just be able to see cars driving up there! Loved the sheep and watching the California quails and the odd rabbit/hare! Listening to the birds chirping too. Canyon B and B is so close to down down Queenstown and Coronet Peak Ski Resort, Arrowtown and Ayrburn. We thoroughly enjoyed being out of town by 6 mins but close enough if we had to be there.

The Canyons is a beautiful place just outside of the town and the host is amazing. She greeted us as we arrived and showed us around. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi

Very lovely accommodation with an amazing view. Breakfast was sumptuous and plentiful. Also, Jennie was a very friendly host. Able to see plenty of stars at night when the skies are clear
