LODGE & LOFT

The upstairs Loft, kitchen-dining-bedroom, is very small and accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. Downstairs, the entrance hall also hosts the only WC. However, there is no washbasin alongside or privacy from the rest of the loft. The washbasin is found upstairs; this is very small and located under a sloping roof. We used the kitchen sink for brushing teeth and washing. The shower is exceptional. The double bed is surrounded by three walls and can only be accessed from the foot of the bed. We had to ask for clean sheets as the ones on the bed when we arrived were dubiously clean. These were changed whilst we were out. Communication with the hosts prior to our stay felt impersonal. We asked for information about ordering breakfast and received multiple hyperlinks - none of which helped us directly with our request. As we arrived after six, we were too later to order breakfast for our our first morning. The information, however, was available in a very comprehensive printed guide. It would be helpful if all this information was available in advance. We were also unable to locate the wi-fi code and had to message to ask for this - along with the location of the tv tuner. Departure information was not available in the printed guide; this was received after we had departed. This property promotes itself on well-being; this could be further improved by providing a seamless customer experience along with appropriate information prior to, and during, stays.

Fantastic location for viewing the bulb fields. Wonderful hosts and a cozy loft overlooking the beautiful lake and castle.

Terrasse

Heerlijk weekendje weg geweest en maximaal genoten van de accomodatie. De locatie is super, je kijkt uit op het water en de oude burcht, wat meteen gevoel van rust en privacy geeft. De lodge is heel mooi ingericht en van alles voorzien. De sauna is makkelijk in gebruik en alles is erg schoon. Daarnaast zijn de hosts enorm vriendelijk, veel leuke tips ontvangen, ze zijn goed bereikbaar en staan ze klaar om alle vragen te beantwoorden of ergens mee te helpen. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Das Loft ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, der Ausblick auf der Terasse zum See und zur Burgruine sind wirklich schön. Das Loft hat dadurch eine besondere Atmosphäre. Das Bett ist bequem und die Lage ist für verschiedenste Ausflüge in Städte oder zum Meer ideal. Supermarkt und kleine Restaurants sind um die Ecke. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.

Wie bereits in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben ist die Wendeltreppe ziemlich eng und schmal. Das sollte man beachten. Wir hätten uns über eine Möglichkeit zum kochen gefreut, es gibt nur einen Ofen und eine Mikrowelle.

De loft: super leuk, mooi en met heel veel zorg ingericht. Van alle gemakken voorzien: infrarood sauna, Netflix, oven, goede koffie, regendouche, vaatwasser, melk en een opschuimer was inbegrepen. Badjassen, slippers. Heerlijke rituals producten. Druifjes stonden klaar. Van die leuke extraatjes :) Bed is overheerlijk. Je doet de dubbele deur open en kijkt naar de ruïne van kasteel Teylingen. Leuk balkonterrasje. Temperatuur goed te regelen. Het is een tiny B&B, maar dan met de luxe en zorg van een design hotel :) Contact met eigenaresse was super fijn, vriendelijk en met aandacht. Voelde me als alleenreizende vrouw heel veilig en cosy!

Ik wist dat de wenteltrap smal zou zijn en dat een koffer te breed zou zijn. Luister naar dat advies :) Dat was geen minpunt, maar ik was eigenwijs en de koffer bleek idd te breed voor de trap :)
