Cliftonville House

A wonderful stay with the friendliest host, Sue, who made us feel right at home. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable perfect for a great night’s sleep. Plus, the location is ideal, just a short walk from town. Highly recommend!

As soon as we arrived, Sue was friendly and welcoming, and even said we could bring takeaways back and eat them in the dining room/lounge if we wanted to. She even left a beer glass out for us the second day. Full English breakfast was excellent. There was only one choice of cereal out, however the cooked breakfast was quite sufficient for us. Location is very good being just steps away from bus stops in either direction, and short walks to beaches/town.

There was still litter in the bin in the lounge when we arrived (well I had to find something for this section!)

The location was perfect, far enough out from the bustle of the town but close enough to walk in. Sue was very friendly and made us very welcome.

Rooms, breakfast, everything was lovely.

Lovely quiet house, comfortable room, wonderful breakfast and lovely host. Sue is a sweetheart.

It was a perfect stay. Sue was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and spotless and the shower was very good. The breakfast was hearty and beautifully cooked. We were having a couple of days break after a hectic time at home and the ambience of the room and the general calm of the place helped us relax and enjoy it all.
