"Beautiful home and Gardens and wonderful Host"

Perfect location for exploring Windermere and the wider Lake District. Wonderful accomodation and absolutely stunning gardens. The accomodation was spotless, the beds were very comfortable and Alena the host was amazing. A truly wonderful experience in such a lovely welcoming home but with your own entrance allowing your host and yourself privacy. The breakfast was outstanding. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

"Very pleasant stay all round, very close to railway/bus station if you didn’t have a car."

Breakfast was fine with lots of choices e.g. cereal, cooked breakfast, toast etc. The host went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating.

Couldn’t find any fault at all.

Lovely room and breakfast. The building faces a busy road and I was concerned that there would be traffic noise, but the room is tucked into the back and was very quiet.

This is the one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The host is a truly kind and lovely lady who welcomed us very warmly. She always took care of us, and helped gently whenever we needed it. The house is a beautiful traditional English home with a charming garden. The interior is beautifully maintained and spotless. Especially, the bathroom was exceptionally immaculate. The bathroom had a heated floor. Breakfast was a highlight for me. The dining room was lovely. There was a generous selection of spreads, both sweet and savoury. The croissants were delightful. We are very grateful and would highly recommend this place.

Comfortable spacious accommodation and excellent hosts. Loved having own front door access. Walking distance to cafes and local shops, and very quiet spot looking out onto garden with own patio. Excellent breakfast. Hosts were friendly and could not be more welcoming.

Beautifully appointed private apartment with its own access and patio. Situated in the middle of Windermere town and yet hidden in a secret garden. A little gem.
