The house is situated in a beautiful quiet spot in the country, but quite near to Aberystwyth. The owners were very helpful, responding to questions about what to see in the region. A nice breakfast was served each day.

"Redelijk uitvalsbasis voor excursies in de omgeving op aardig landgoed"

Het is een modern B&B op een oud landgoed, dat wordt gedreven door een jong gezin. Het landgoed op zich is bijzonder aardig. Het ligt vlak buiten Aberystwith, dus je staat zo aan het strand met een enorm kasteel in een heel aardige stad in Wales, daarmee is Plas Dalou een aardige keuze.

Slechte bedden, maar erg flets personeel. Niks mis, maar ook zeker niets voor.

Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Lovely peaceful location within easy reach of Aberystwyth. Comfortable room and good sized bathroom.

Could do with more power sockets, particularly under dressing table to use hairdryer etc. Mirror a little small too. Net curtains at the window would afford a little more privacy, particularly with room being on ground floor overlooking the driveway.

"Quiet and peaceful, good-sized room, nice hosts."

Nice and quiet, a lovely house and excellent hosts. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was large, with his-and-her wash basins. The continental breakfast was ample enough to set me up for the day. Plas Dolau is close enough to Aberystwyth for any shopping and amenities, but also far enough away for peace and quiet. An evening walk along the old driveway to the estate was very pleasant.

I had a little trouble trying to get the over bath shower to the right temperature and pressure. Apart from that, everything was tickets boo!

Lovely quiet location, great room, great breakfast. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this location to everybody
