Grad Štanjel House

Everything was just perfect: super nice, helpful and friendly staff, tasty breakfast in the morning, very nice room and in the evening delicious dinner in the restaurant.

The location is well accessible and close to the parking areas (just a short walk up the hill). We loved both the lovely exterior with green doors and windows, pleasant terrace with a nice view (we even had breakfast there once) as well as the interior with layout that works perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised with availabilty of all little things that come in handy while staying somewhere - the hosts thought of everything. While there, make sure to visit the Bistro Grad Štanjel as you will be left speachless (and full) due to the great food they serve. Thanks to the great hosts!

The breakfast was extraordinary

Wonderful place! Gaja, the owner, was super helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, 6- course top notch dinner menu, great wines. Visiting this place is a must when touring Alps to Adriatics bike route in Slovenia!

The accommodation, the breakfast and the staff were perfect. It met all our needs.
