Superb and filling breakfast. Judith and Ed were very welcoming and a delight to meet. Beautiful old farmhouse with stunning views, concealed along a fells road. Tranquil and relaxing.

Little hard to find

Very peaceful accomodation with welcoming hosts. Good variety of foods for breakfast to get you through the day and comfy beds.

The instructions to connect to the wifi could have been more obvious.

The location was amazing the room was comfortable, clean and had an amazing view out the window.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Holmeshead Farm. Judy and her husband were so welcoming, and the accommodation was so cosy and relaxing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We were up for the weekend taking part in a Swim course in Ambleside and we needed an early start which Judith was very accommodating, and she also loaned us towels for the lake as we had forgotten. It was such a lovely weekend stay, and we thoroughly recommend.
