"Wished I’d seen the small print."

Clean and comfortable

Sad that on arrival we were informed the usual hosts were away, so breakfast wasn’t included. It seems we’d missed this small print, which was very disappointing. Whilst the temporary host was friendly and helpful, it was sad that due to unforeseen circumstances no one was available on our departure, only a note. So we saw no one. Lovely place but sadly the friendly interaction we had hoped for in a B&B wasn’t to be on this occasion.

Great location. Comfortable and clean room. Perfectly adequate for a two or three night stay.

Heating only came on morning and evening. Shower a bit weak.

Really close to Ambleside centre. Great pub nearby - The Flying Fleece. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast
