Ideal location, with parking - very close to Ambleside, great hosts, comfortable room and fantastic breakfast with locally sourced bacon and sausages and homemade bread. A real find.

Well located and genial host. Room clean and comfortable. Extensive choice for breakfast but I find making choices the night before quite hard!! Lovely view from breakfast room.

Minor point but leaving property by car onto a main road on a bend and from an incline was a challenge!

Séjour exceptionnel grâce à l'attention et à la gentillesse de son hôte. Et à son emplacement dans un écrin de verdure et à proximité de la ville. L'établissement est très proche du centre de Ambleside, on peut y accéder à pied sans problème. Et le petit déjeuner est délicieux, copieux. On peut choisir ce qu'on souhaite manger. Je recommande chaleureusement cet établissement .

"Great weekend, very relaxing stay"

Great host with lots of local knowledge. Lovely room and free on site parking. Wonderful breakfast. Second time we've stayed and will definitely stay again.
