Sehr, sehr saubere Unterkunft! Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, gutes Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück lecker! Wir würden wiederkommen und können zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Danke:)

Schade war, dass wir ca. 10x anrufen mussten, bis wir für den Check-in jemanden erreicht haben. Das ist nach einer langen Anreise stressig.

"The breakfastprovider made our day!"

Breakfast with the former owner of the B&B which handed a personal experience for the first time in all our stays this journey. With the use of all the lockboxes nowadays and phonecalls that bring you to voicemails only he made our journey!

The fact there was no pincode and locker info sent . Call gets answered by a booking.com message only half an hour after arrival

Room clean, fair standard of decoration. Quiet at night.

More stairs than I would have liked including a twist and a low ceiling. Difficult for elderly/disabled. Noise from downstairs fairly audible during day. I did not appreciate the automatic check-in carried out over the phone, the limited check-in times, nor having to state what time I wanted breakfast the night before - hardly relaxing or welcoming. Suitable for business travellers perhaps, but not guests trying to have a relaxing break. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful - no vegetarian options, no fresh fruit, over processed bread. Frankly not good enough in this day and age. I had to make do with one poor quality egg and a tomato. There was no guest lounge, despite advertisement. No tourist brochures etc. All about making money for the least possible outlay. Another disappointing and misleading booking from Booking.com.

"All good. Clean and tidy. nice food. Car park ok for 5 cars, Pub 70m away :). Tea time!"

Location fine. quick drive down from the outskirts. Park and ride direction (what we did first for a jolly into the centre). Clean room. food nice at breakfast. Loads of stuff. No staff when there, all done on the phone and key boxes outside, combination. Don't do hotels, guest house normally. thought odd, but it worked. Wanted some time in in Cambridge, Grantchester (off the telly). So did. Our activities. Shower head holder a bit loose, hard for shower to be at height. One bed side lamp a bit broken but all OK really, nothing to cause greef
