"A warm and comfortable B&B with a friendly host"

A lovely B&B right on the Pennine way. The owners were not in when I arrived, but had very good personal instructions on how to get myself settled into my room. It's a warm home that has a very friendly and welcoming feel to it, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very generous, offering more than I could eat, and anything I could think of ever wanting. The owner was very friendly, I was happy to have chosen to stay here as a solo traveller.

The bathroom in my room was private, but situated down the hall, next to the other guest room in the house

"Excellent for walkers"

Such a comfortable and cosy stay after a long day walking the Pennine way across Cross Fell. Lana was very welcoming, and cooked us a wonderful, hearty dinner as pre-arranged due to the pub in the village being closed. Having a lounge area to relax was an added bonus, and the rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing night.
