Eastview Bed and Breakfast

Very comfy and cosy and due to only having a couple of guest rooms, nice and quiet. Nice cosy guest lounge with plenty of books and tv. Free to come and go as you pleased.

The property itself was ideal, although I didn’t have en-suite facilities but had my own private bathroom down the corridor.

A truly beautiful property, traditional, steeped in history and full of character. The room was immaculate and every need was more than amply catered for. Two incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who could not make us feel more comfortable if they had tried. The lounge area and dining room were homely and resplendent and we could have happily stayed in the property the whole weekend and loved it by the beautiful real log fire. Finally, THAT breakfast. Oh wow, you will never get quantity or quality like it in a chain hotel or in most bnbs in our experience. The food was exquisite and bountiful. The location is brilliant. The price was very reasonable. Breakfast was home made and very nice. It was very peaceful and felt homely.

Not much to do unless you travel to other villages or Penrith. The local pub is still closed until further notice

Very nice room, very warm. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. On the C2C route. Decent breakfast, very flexible hosts.

No pub in the village, not their fault though.

Lovely owner, gorgeous breakfast, very comfy and cozy place. The beds in our room had electric blankets on and we really appreciated that. Little touches around the house made the stay more enjoyable also. Highly recommend.

Facilities were good with lots of character, staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very very good.👍

Watch out for the low ceilings.🤣
