Allwyn & Jency are two of the loveliest people you will meet. Very helpful and accommodating. We spent two weeks in Kerela and Jency’s cooking was the best food we ate. Allwyn gave us great advice for what to do and was able to book most things for us including transport when needed. Having the bikes available was the perfect way to explore the surrounding area with the help of Allwyns map. We really had the best time here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Mandaram Villas was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. A prepaid taxi was arranged for us from the airport so we didn’t need to worry about cash until the end of our stay. Communication with the owner Allwyn was perfect all on WhatsApp to keep things easy, he even arranged the cab to stop so we could get food en route to the guesthouse as we had a late check in. - The rooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom with an open roof shower into nature. The style of the property reminded me of a Moroccan Riad with the 3 guest rooms split over 2 levels and an open central section with L shape swimming pool, perfect for those more lazy days sunbathing at the house. The property offers breakfast included which is exceptional, each guest room has its own private dining area and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. For dinner we were invited to Allwyn’s second property (also on booking.com) Marari Dreamz which we highly recommend. It was by far the best meals we had in Kerala and to be honest it was my favourite of our whole trip through South India. All locally sourced authentic South Indian home cooked dishes prepared by Allwyn’s wife Jency. The whole experience was a 10/10 for vibe and food! - We were also offered lots of activities to do during our stay which were all explained after breakfast on our first day by the house manager. All can be arranged through them - Yoga, boat tours, kayaking, scooters etc. We also had access to beach mats for the beach around 3 minutes walk away. Probably the longest tropical beach I’ve even seen with beautiful clear waters and palm trees. We even got to see dolphins on our first swim which was amazing. The house also offers free bicycles to explore the local village and temple which was definitely worth a visit. - All in all this is a perfect oasis to unwind after a long day exploring the local areas and activities.

Beautifully designed star light bathroom, peaceful and relaxing, very short walk to beach and cafe. Easy reach of backwaters, lovely helpful staff and owner, friendly locals. Delicious food!

Such a cosy place to stay with trees and the sounds of birds around us. The staff were great and very helpful. We cycled about 2 minutes to the beach which was lovely.

Beautiful property, pool very clean, location 400m from the beach, super friendly and welcoming staff, home made South Indian breakfast, even organised back water canoae trip for us 😀 😋

There was nothing that we could say was not likeable on this property. We really enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend it for others ❤️

We had the most wonderful time at Mandaram villas and felt comfortable from the first second. The team fullfilled our every wish: In the morning we had nice yoga sessions, in the afternoon we enjoyed homemade lemonade. And the food, both breakfast and dinner, was fantastic! The beach is very near and we were even lucky to see dolphins. :-) It was all in all the best ending for our trip through South India.

Peaceful place , the swimming pool always perfect, the room was very clean , service extremely kind and the breakfast and dinner just fantastic .

Such a lovely place to stay. Everywhere is kept immaculately clean. Everyone working here is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast every day by the pool. Relaxing to stay by the pool or you can walk to the beautiful beach in just 5 minutes. The gardens are beautiful too. We also ate here in the evening with delicious Keralan food. Highly recommend staying here for a very relaxing time. We also had dinner at the owner Allwyn's other property one evening with fabulous fish and veggie curries, dosa, rice etc. All delicious and cooked to perfection by Allwyn's wife Jensy.
