La Betulia Bed and Breakfast

Very cozy and clean. Staff was gracious and helpful. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed the breakfast with other guests. The beds were comfortable. Nice closet to hang up clothing . Nice soap and towels.Good location with quick stroll to sites.

This place is amazing. The place is beautiful and the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There are also a few really nice touches which make a difference such as water in the room and courtyard, sun cream, and bug repellant all available to use. The breakfast was very nice and fresh. All of the staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful. It is less than a 10 minute walk to Santo Domingo.

As the rooms face the courtyard where breakfast is you can hear people from 8am onwards as this is when breakfast begins but this was no problem for me, just something to bear in mind.

I loved sitting with other guests and Daniel at breakfast and discussing plans for the day. The food was always delicious.

I would have liked to have known sooner that I could use the kitchen to make tea before the breakfast hours.

We loved this place! The food is great, the staff is wonderful, it’s in walking distance of main attractions, but in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are sooooo comfortable which is rare!

The only issue is that you can hear everyone in the hotel. We were on the first floor so that might have made it a bit louder, but it wasn’t enough of a bother to makes us want to leave. Everything else made up for that inconvenience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely stay again.

+ Great location, short walk from the centre and all attractions, but away from the bustle and fiestas. + Nice, clean, well-equipped rooms surrounding a courtyard with trees. Basically, whatever we needed, we got. + The breakfasts! Fresh, varied, delicious, with proper bread, and a new cooked dish every day - all included!!! The communal breakfast table is great for meeting the other guests, if you're so inclined :) + Amazing staff, super helpful and altogether nice people. The host, Daniel, is also super friendly and ready to assist with anything.

Though this might be more of a comment on Oaxaca in general than La Betulia in particular, the proximity of the Auditorio Guelaguetza means an occasional loud event at night. But the venue sits on top of a hill overlooking the city center and the surrounding villages, so it seems unavoidable, and it did not detract from the great experience we had here!

Super nice place to stay in Oaxaca! Very clean and comfortable room, nice stuff, perfect location (5-7mins walk to the center keeps it quiet), and the breakfast was so delicious! I will definitely come back.
