Yaxham Mill

It was a perfect location and Darren and Cara were really helpful and welcoming. The couple were able to provide a gluten free breakfast for my celiac daughter which is always a stress.

The breakfast was of good quality; a few oat-based items like granola or porridge might have helped gluten intolerant guests or non dairy alternatives

Great location for exploring Norfolk. Quiet setting. It is tucked away from the road so no traffic noise. Good breakfast. Lovely to have breakfast in the old mill. Owners very pleasant. Bedroom and facilities were to a standard you’d expect at a B&B. The restaurant next door is fantastic to have on the doorstep. Very easy 3-4 minute drive into outskirts of town for Supermarket, fuel and fast food outlet.

Although the room had been nicely decorated and was mostly clean and lovely, some small details remained from a stay two years prior. The key lock on the door to the room was temperamental and sometimes took 10 turns of the key before it would function, for example. Hair bobbles and a couple of small items found tucked just under the bed from previous visitors. Only very minor points though.

Initially they didn’t seem to be aware that we had booked an early check in, but bent over backwards to accommodate our needs

Quiet and peaceful , restaurant next door

Got given a disabled room which was like staying in a hospital room . I’m guessing it was the last room available but it would have been nice to of been told and given the choice to make another booking else where .

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Gutes Frühstück. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder.
