Yaxham Mill

Breakfast had a good choice and the very pleasant waitress pleasingly set up a table on the ground floor of the mill to accommodate my wife's mobility incapacity which prevented her climbing stairs to the official breakfast room. Our room had all the conveniences we needed and was clean but rather compact. The en-suite wet room on the other hand was large, light and also clean. The bed had a very comfortably firm mattress and pairs of 'plumtious' pillows which provided a good nights sleep. Location was only a couple of miles to Dereham directly down the road at the front of the site so eateries, shopping and fuel were readily available. On site car parking at the rear shared with an Indian restaurant fronting the complex was convenient. My SatNav told me I had arrived at my destination as I entered Yaxham village. It was wrong. The destination was another half mile further, on the right, set back behind the cream coloured Indian restaurant bordering the road. Enjoy!

Pathway at the side of the building leading to the entrance at the back is too narrow and uneven particularly for wheelchairs and walking aids.

The owners and the breakfasts were lovely. The rooms were comfortable

We have stayed at the Yaxham Mill a number of times and have always found the rooms clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

We were in room 6 lovely room only negative lights are on outside all night which shines into room just needs black out curtains to fix it

The property was fantastic; room(s) were spacious, clean and with an excellent view towards the sun in mornings and evenings - overall brilliant property! The breakfast area, in the Mill itself, was brilliant too with a real unique feel.
