Everything about this stay was so great! The room and bath were clean and warm with listed amenities provided, and the breakfast with the hosts was really generous and tasty! Anne-Marie and John were friendly and gave great recommendations about places to go/things to eat along our trip (the burger recommendation was really good!) They even gave us a tour around their deer farm, and I got to meet the sheep and baby lambs. Thank you so much for the stay ☺️

"Outstanding stay at McIvor lodge-bed and breakfast"

The home was just outside the city in a farm type area. It was beautiful. The home and garden were lovely and very well kept. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and were so nice to speak with them about life in NZ. We highly recommend staying there.

The bathroom size and water pressure.

"A nice rural experience"

McIvor lodge was lovely. Set in rural surroundings with a beautiful garden only 10 minutes away from the centre of Invercargill. The room was cosy and warm and the breakfast with the hosts was the highlight of our stay. Very enjoyable.
