McIvor Lodge

Location was beautiful on the farm with lots of flowers in early December. Room was quaint with a very comfortable bed. Room was clean and well appointed. The hosts were very nice and prepared a sumptuous breakfast with cereal, toast with homemade preserves, eggs and bacon. Good value for Invercargill while staying out in the countryside.

Nothing not to like!

This was an amazing find on a deer farm 5 mis drive from the CBD. The hosts were awesome providing great conversation and an extremely yummy breakfast. We stayed for two night and would stay there again.

The hosts Marie and John were lovely! We loved the homemade breakfasts. The house was stunning as well. Great location just outside of Invercargill. The animals outside were adorable as well.

Great hosts that do everything right. Could not have been better.

Fabulous hosts, Anne-Marie and John are so accommodating. The location on their deer farm is so tranquil. They are also very knowledgeable about the area and give great advice.

Ann-Marie and John were consummate hosts. They graciously invited me to join them for evening tea when Ann-Marie discovered I was staying in for the evening. Also took time to show their deer farm to me.
