Old building so shared toilets showers. But old buildings so you accept this .

Cheap compared to other hotels around the area Never stayed in a hotel with so level ratings. This hotel is fairly central and compared to other hotels in the area, offers cheap rates. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable for a couple of nights. Unfortunately, there were some issues that significantly affected my overall impression. The floor was the dirtiest I have ever seen in a hotel room and appeared not to have been vacuumed and dust over the stuffs in the room. I left for one night and in my return, I was booked to the same room and the rubbish were still on the floor and was not vacuumed. The sink in the bedroom hardly drained, making it inconvenient to use. After reading other guest reviews, it seems that these issues have been raised before, yet little has been done to address them.

It is disappointing because these are relatively minor maintenance and housekeeping matters that could be resolved with very little investment. Simply cleaning the carpets in the bedrooms and landing areas and repairing the sink drainage would greatly improve the quality of the accommodation and the guest experience.
