Duck Inn Lodge

Beautiful, quiet spot beside the river, and loved seeing the deer wandering around. The Inn itself is quaint, comfortable, clean, cozy, and affordable. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the homemade breakfast was delicious.

The Duck Inn Lodge was a comfortable place to stay. It was clean and then owners welcoming.

The refrigerator in the room did not work. Since we had been hiking and taking snacks, I had to toss my my refrigerator items away. The air conditioner was not working well. Probably need the filter change. We came in late and left early so I did not get to mention this to them.

Breakfast was great.

The shower/tub was very slippery. Didn't find the anti-slip mat until after the shower. It should be out and visible.

I have 4 kids and the vibe of the whole place was welcoming and warm. They had fish and turtle aquariums in the lobby, lots of board games and activities to keep the kids occupied during transition times. The lobby was an extension of our room with great staff and other visitors to converse with. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Less than a 5 minute drive to downtown.

I loved how self-sufficient everything was. There is literally a hall closet filled with extra things guests might need that you can access yourself. I liked how homey and comfortable it felt. Lots of caring touches throughout the Lodge.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but I just slept on top of the covers with the blanket I brought from home, and it was great!

the area was so quiet and nice. the view was lovely. the bed was comfy. shower had wonderful pressure. all appliances were in great working condition

contact free check in was not well explained and having to sort key pad issues over the phone was frustrating. having a room below the lobby was not quiet. rolling suit cases over tile at 6 in the morning above your head was disappointing. the main things were clean but it’s clear it needs a deep cleaning. all vents and fans, ac unit all need cleaning. mirrors chairs, baseboards all needed a proper clean. carpet was very stained. the tub had a broken tap and over flow drain. and for the life of us, we couldn’t figure out how to use the fire place. pillows were comically small for a king bed. also the ac unit was really just a fan
