Beautiful setting, a lovely home away from home, the garden and fresh air is beautiful. Andrew and Penny are such wonderful people and made me feel very welcome, they couldn’t do enough for me and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Very friendly pets and delicious breakfast.

There are Air BnB's, and then there is Shurinji, where you are welcomed with warmth and your every need is Andrew and Penny's wish to secure for you. Your fur babies are invited to share your holiday with you, in their home, and treated as one of their own. A tour of the beautiful garden - no problem. This is the same garden you enjoy views of from your bedroom. A peaceful oasis teeming with roses, native trees, doves, a duck pond, and green rolling hills in the background. Breakfast is a three course affair with food from the property. Starting with homemade Pomegranate Kumbucha, freshly cut grapefruit (which is truly delicious), followed by free-range eggs - anyway you like them - and never served without either spinach, mushrooms, salmon or bacon. Nothing is too much trouble. Andrew's local knowledge of history and places to visit seemed limitless. We appreciated all his suggestions of things to see and do in Whanganui (a place we had never visited before). Too tired to go out for dinner? Andrew checked in with us each night and invited us to join them for dinner, or at least a glass of wine. We felt spoilt, nurtured, and wonderfully relaxed after our stay. Of course, we would recommend Shurinji. Of course, we will find lots of other reasons to visit and stay again. Of course, we highly recommend you discover how wonderful Shurinji is for yourself. Posto favoloso, giardino magnifico, camera grande, luminosa e tranquilla. Proprietari gentilissimi, oltre al giro del giardino ci hanno fatto fare una lavatrice ed è stato un piacere chiacchierare con loro. Colazione eccezionale, varia, fatta in casa. Consigliatissimo

Hosts were exceptional The setting was beautiful even at this time of year around October. Communication and conversation was great. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and will return Andrew and Penny along with Rocky and Lambo were the consumate hosts. Loved it.
