Pyne Arms

From check in to check out, our experience was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and every detail has been considered from homemade shortbread to a water carafe. The restaurant bar is cosy with a menu boasting delicious fare for both dinner and breakfast. This property is definitely one we would highly recommend.

The pub was in the countryside, really beautiful views of the countryside, had a warm welcoming and the room was beyond expectations the bed was the best bed I’ve slept in, there was a mini fridge to store any cold drinks or food u may have, the pictures on the wall were beautiful 😻 everything about this place was amazing and I’d recommend to anyone looking to stay in Barnstaple area! The staff were also extremely lovely ☺️

Nothing Everything was great

Amie and Ellis are superb hosts. They work hard and deliver a great experience. The fact that the Pyne Arms still remains a 'local' too is fantastic, and not something you can say about many pubs these days. Food, room and location are all something special.

Delicious breakfast.

The room was beautifully decorated and had lovely little touches like homemade shortbread. Dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had, delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and was also lovely, with a good choice.

We loved it all

Hosts were perfect, breakfast was superb. We ate there the first evening and the meal was first class. Parking reserved for residents so no worries there. We had our dog with us who was made very welcome, and spoilt by the staff and owners alike. The bar in the evening is very inviting, and used by the locals which says alot for the hospitality you recieve.

Great stay. Staff all welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable with nice touches of homemade shortbread, tea and coffee with fresh milk. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Lovely quiet location easy to find via Google maps. Wifi worked (phone signal a little weak but this is Exmoor!). Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in the area. Great value for money
