Pyne Arms

In the middle of nowhere we found The Pyne Arms and decided to book a room. Just a couple of minutes after our arrival we were already enjoying a drink in the sun in the small, cozy garden. The room was spotless, welcoming, and the beds felt like heaven. When we came down for dinner, we were pleasantly surprised to find the pub filled with locals, and even more surprised by the outstanding quality of the food – beautifully prepared and perfectly served by the friendly staff. And breakfast? Just like dinner: simply perfect. If you’re anywhere near The Pyne Arms, this is absolutely the place to stay!

Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Very busy, but fitted us in at a table to ensure we could have an evening meal. Perfect quiet location for what we required. Very clean, quiet room, even though it was attached to a busy pub. Food was great too!! Brilliant breakfast service in the morning, served with a smile, What more could you ask for!

Fan outside bedroom window, but was off overnight so didn't affect our stay.

Very good value for money and the peace and quiet wa s exceptional. A good tasty breakfast rounded it all off.

Staff at the pub were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went over and above to make us feel welcome. The bedroom was beautifully presented, bed was comfortable with delicious homemade shortbread waiting for us on arrival along with a superb flat white coffee. We were grateful for good, easy to access secure bike storage. The meal both in the evening and for breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked.... an all-round superb spot to stay.
