The host, the location surprised us since there was a nice landscape and some nice local restaurants no more than ten minutes walk away

Nothing special but it is worth noting that it is next to some kind of small industrial building (I guess for the wineries) which unfortunately spoils a bit the great view of the surroundings. But this is widely compensated by the place and the kind hosts.

Very cozy, clean, everything seems brand new, comfortable bed, lots of lovely details and small touches, great host! We would recommend it and return any time again.

Not really soundproof. The breakfast was good (homemade marmelade and 3 different italian homemade cakes which really shows the hard efforts of the landlord) but beside of boiled eggs there was no "salty" choice of food such as ham or cheese. I imagine that not everybody can eat "sweet" food for breakfast.
