The location is good and well connected. You easily get a shared taxi to Darjeeling Market.

Although Booking.com says pay at property but the Homestay sent an email for part payment for confirming booking, which I totally missed as I was sure that my booking is confirmed. Later I had to pay extra at the location for 1 day as no rooms were available. This needs to be looked into.

On a positive note, the rooms were clean and well maintained

The room service experience was extremely disappointing. We requested water at 9 PM, but the staff member did not respond to repeated phone calls. After several attempts, he even switched off the phone. I tried contacting the owners multiple times, but they neither answered nor returned my calls. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable, and the overall service was poor. Additionally, the food prices were unreasonably high, and GST was charged without any mention in the menu that the listed prices excluded GST.
