Breakfast was the only slight disappointment. Rather hasty service and limited quality cereal selection. Only full fat yogurt. These are small points!

Nice pub. Village location. Well equipped bedrooms. Good menu, very happy with our evening meal which was beautifully cooked and generous. Outstanding staff. Each and every one of them friendly helpful and welcoming. Excellent culture here and it makes a huge difference to guests so well done them. Especially delightful breakfast waitress who was super cheerful and delightful to everyone as well as intuitive and efficient.

The room is advertised on Booking.com as having a bath, showing a picture of the bath. As my wife loves a bath rather than a shower, this was one of the main reasons I chose the booking. The en-suite in Elizabeth has evidently been changed to a shower only. This was very disappointing. In addition, we couldn't get the large shower head to work, despite trying every combination of adjustments. There are no instructions for the shower. The pillows are not very comfortable. I don't know if they are feather pillows (we are both allergic to feathers), but they bunch up inside, rather than providing overall support. The evening meals are not good for vegetarians, but that's ok, we went out for our evening meal. The breakfast however was great for vegetarians.

Beautiful location with fantastic walks nearby. Very nice comfortable room with high-quality bathroom products. Very friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed the excellent and varied breakfasts using quality local products. The varied evening meals were also very delicious Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
