Hotel Amrit Bliss

The hotel was super clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room rate was competitive and everything worked! Restaurants and shops for groceries all close by. Would definitely recommend.

Up a steepish hill which was fine for us as we hired a scooter but it may not be for everyone.

The closing time of the main gate is 10 PM, I don't like to bother the staff person to open/close the door at night, but it's alright I manage to reach around 10 PM.

The staff was very helpful, responsive and kind. It is in a great location if you like being in the mix of all the action. The price, location, and staff was great for the area. Yoga hall.

The smell of the bathroom drain gave off a strong sewer smell that was not resolved with cleaning or spraying room freshener. The owner agreed to let me go but raised the price for the one night. I left earlier than planned because I couldn't sleep with the smell.

Our host went out of his way to take care of us being 1st time visitor to Rishikesh

The hotel is situated in the Upper Tapovan, it is a nice area, about ten minutes walking down to the main road. The room was nice, big and comfortable bed, kettle and filtred water was for free in the room. I had balcony heading to the gardens, so the noise from the road was not heard so much. At night it was a calm area. Bathroom was ok, hot water, bidet, soap and shampoo. The hotel has its own yoga shala that is nice and clean with all props, there is a yoga class with a teacher each morning.

The sheets could be more cleaner and blankets more thick and warm. I was cold at night (February) - there is no heating, but I got another blanket that helped in a way.
