Good value stay in Rishikesh. Very very kind, friendly and helpful staff with yoga studio on site.

I want to be honest for travellers of a certain type (us) that a few aspects of the hotel (and Rishikesh in general) were quite stripped back. The rooms have a wet room attached rather than a shower and the hotel has no real facilities other than the yoga studio - e.g bar or common room, restaurant or spa

Reception staff went above and beyond to provide a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The value for money is great. Room was clean and had the things you need. Excellent service from the staff, I was always sure that I could get help with anything I needed. For my journey home I got help with arranging a taxi to the airport for a good price.

Slight sewage smell in bathroom. Paying extra for the balcony was completely unnecessary, it’s very sad and you don’t want to spend even a second on it.

The owner and staff were very caring, helped us carry our luggage, book a taxi and were of greatest support when we fell sick. The accommodation was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at The Ajna for 18 nights after a yoga teacher training and I've been feeling at home. I have been warmly welcomed by Raju and Bhupendra who were always the most helpful! The rooms are clean and beautiful, especially those with a balcony facing the mountains. There is a beautiful rooftop and a yoga hall with classes to which you can attend every morning. The hostel is located in the heart of Tapovan.
