Good location, very easy check in, good value for money

Let’s start with arrival. Will was on hand to receive and guide us, probably the most friendly owner / operator we have ever met! The Waterings was beyond our expections. Thanks.

Everything! The beds were comfortable, the room and facilities spotless and comfortable, then the continental breakfast facilities plentiful and great quality… Then the courtyard and gardens were lovely, the large Koi Carp pond impressive.

Bed too hard for us but not something we couldn't manage for a couple of nights

Good choices for self serve brekkie, and, available at any time. Great to have our own fridge in our room.

You can always think of things you could have done differently, but talking to Will made it clear that he is planning on developing the rooms into something that will be excellent.

The internal deco could do with some updating

Great location, quiet, clean, small property with only a few guests, thorough continental breakfast.

Slow wifi, toilet didn’t flush well and ran a long time, shower style with small door only makes for a cold shower (too much air, no steam), low pressure, with a lot of water spilling onto floor. Thin walls so it’s easy to hear neighbor noise/snoring. While it’s easy enough with self check-in, it would have been nice to see staff at some point. In our 3 days we never saw anyone, but I did text with Will, who was typically responsive. I know he has a day job! The outside area isn’t enticing to hang out in with cobwebs everywhere and stacks of building supplies against the fence.

The breakfast idea was great for us. plenty of space in the room
