Although forewarned about the Cockerell, and acknowledging its a rural area, I didn't sleep from 3 till 7.30. He was constant. I'll take earplugs next time!

The F&H pub is a splendid small country inn, staff are great, the pub grub food menu is comprehensive, the quality is good and reasonably priced. The motel type rooms at the side are compact but comfortable and the setting is quiet. The shower room was nice and clean. All the usual hotel facilities out in the country, in miniature! The breakfast was excellently cooked and tasty. An excellent good value overnight stay, I will definitely book again.

Room was lovely, liked that it was separate to the Inn, was quiet, great views, felt very private. Excellent parking, lovely staff and an excellent breakfast!!

The room had a slightly musty smell when we arrived but was soon sorted by an open window and no problem then.

Beautifully clean rooms, super friendly staff and perfect location!
