Fox and Hounds Country Inn

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Loretta in particular was a real credit to herself and the property. I’m veggie so only wanted mushrooms on toast for breakfast….how on earth she made such a bland dish delicious is beyond me!

The staff and food were very good.The breakfast and morning staff were very very good.

When we got there The shower/ bathroom was soaked and plaster coming from a hole in the ceiling, where a piece of wood had been nailed up which had fallen off. I cleaned and dried it up, my son put the piece of wood back into the ceiling, as we couldn’t find any staff. Then we found out that the drain In the shower was blocked, soaked the floor again which one again, we had to clean up ourselves. We reported it and we’re told that they pass it on to the owner.

The location was excellent for the wedding we attended. The staff were all very friendly.The breakfast was excellent and good value.

Handy and has parking

Had smoke alarm low battery going off first night although reported and fixed for second night

The staff were all fantastic. We were in the area for a golf tournament. The location was perfect. Our dinner on the sunday night was great as was the breakfast to set us up for the next day. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Maybe a small shampoo etc in the bathroom would have been good.

Not sure there is anything to flag up!
