Un lieu enchanteur où vous êtes reçus avec le sourire. Nanang est très sympathique et fait tout pour faciliter le séjour. Il nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour une journée de visite des temples. Le lieu est très bien entretenu et la chambre est jolie et équipée de vaisselle et un petit frigidaire comme il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner sur place. Jolie piscine bien appréciée. Un ou 2 transats seraient les bienvenus😁 Une adresse que nous recommandons

quiet, off the beaten track, wonderful place and you can easily get taxis with the grab or gojek phone apps Breakfast wasn't offered but fabulous places nearby, just ask the host for walking directions to the warung/shop/workspace next to the fishing lake, great value and great food

Rumah Sawah is an oasis amidst the busyness of Yogya. It's super peaceful, rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, the garden delightful, the pool a welcome addition and Mr Nanang and his team are so friendly. The homestay is away from the central area but it's easy to get around with various ride shares, and I felt totally safe walking in the area at any time of day or night. Lots of eating options in the area, too.

I've been to Asia several times, but this was my first time in Indonesia. I was immediately impressed by the accommodation. It's an oasis in the middle of the lively city of Yogyakarta. Peace and relaxation are its hallmarks. The host, in particular, was always friendly and helpful. It was interesting to chat with him and get tips. There's a beautiful pool, which I made use of. A successful first stop on my tour through Java and Bali.

Great host , spacious room with good facilities that made our stay comfortable. ( we stayed an extra night) . Nice daily smoothie. Pretty garden with swimming pool. Everything was extremely clean. Cheap Grab to the centre. A must do trip is 4x4 on Mt Merpi , great fun

We had a wonderful stay at Rumah Sawah Homestay! Nanang, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming — always ready with a smile and local tips. One of our favorite touches was being greeted with a fresh mango smoothie each afternoon when we returned from exploring. The room was impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like coffee and tea, reliable hot water, and a lovely view. After long days out, we loved cooling off in the beautiful pool surrounded by greenery. Though it’s just outside of the city, it was easy and inexpensive to grab a short Grab ride into town. Peaceful, friendly, and full of heart — we’d happily stay again!

The photos don’t do this place justice. While it is a little out of town, but easy to get to using grab etc, the accommodation is excellent. The decor is really lovely and the pool is an added bonus. The gardens and surrounding are lovely and peaceful.

Twin beds with gap between even when pushed together. In big picture, this is nitpicking & it was a minute blemish on an impeccable experience 🕊️

Pak Nanang and his staff deserve to be praised for all their efforts for welcoming their guests. The beauty of garden, the advise offered when need and their smiles would be hard to find in most high rated places.

Amazing stay. The host (per every review) is so kind and caring. Pretty grounds and spacious room, a quiet oasis!
